Ben at Villanova

Ben gave his wonderful talk at Villanova University yesterday.  There was a very small turnout which was disappointing, but the people that came were interested and I believe they learned a lot. Ben's talk is anti-organized religion so it is odd to hear a talk like that in a room that has a nearly life-sized crucifix hanging on the wall.  There was only one young man who seemed upset to hear that the catholics, as well as others, made medals disparaging other religious beliefs.  There was a man there that asked Ben if Ben could talk to a club he belongs to in June. That will be nice.

I had my physical yesterday to see if my body can tolerate another surgery.  Melissa Schiffman said yes.  Now I have to wrap my mind around this again. I still don't have a date, but my stomach has begun to churn.  This surgery scares me more than any other I have had.  Maybe it is my age or maybe it is the horrible recovery period and the pain....yech!!

Sunday we are going to see Nathan inducted into a secret society at Rutgers.  How big a secret can this be once I put it on this blog?  After all I have at least one person who reads this besides for moi.
