today i told the orthopedic surgeon that i want a new shoulder. he said he was not surprised judging by how bad the x-ray and the mri were. i am tired of being in pain and not being able to move my arm. he said 6 weeks after the surgery i will feel much better. we will see. it won't be fun. i think i shall be in a lot of pain initially from a large incision and bone cutting..yech! have to do lots of p.t., too. i like this guy and trust him, too. he also said i could probably have a nerve block instead of general anesthesia. that would be good, too.
Are you sure he said they were going to use a nerve block and not a cinder block?
